If only money grew on trees

Today I went to the bank to get some checks (for sending my parents the money I owe them each month), I went to the bank, asked for checks, it's setting me back $20, 20 bucks isn't much, but for CHECKS... PIECES OF PAPER.. it's too much, especially since I don't need many at all, just 10 max, but I have to order 200, and I got the cheapest ones and supposed to come in 2 weeks, for 20 bucks, either they're gypping me, or they'dd be really fancy or something... I don't need fancy checks, I just need simple CHEAP checks so I can send a check to my parents once a month.. but anywho..

I went to school today for 2 meetings and to drop off the tuition payment, it was $940 for 3 courses, PLUS a 20 dollar fee.. all because the university didn't send the bills to the right address (or same name)... I've told them before.. but whatever I guess, so I had to take that money out of my debit card.. it's going to be a cash strapped month.. I owe the parents 200 bucks or so.. and a big social is coming up soon...UGH!

I went to the poli sci club meeting today (I'm the darn secretary), it was boring, but quick, very quick. We had to go to the bank to set up signing authorities for the club because the old administration was just recently desolved for lack of interest. Came back to the school to talk to a few people, I ended up staying a bit too long and ended up being involved in the Liberal club's meeting, they call themselves liberals but they're more conservative than liberal.. military tax?!?! pft... and I always hear that the NDP (aka "socialists") are the ones who tax tax tax, when its conservatives who had some of the biggest federal tax policies in Canadian history, including the introduction of the GST... where does that money go to? paying for ships that don't work? a failing healthcare system? or just giving their friends cushy jobs with salaries in the millions?
